Lite-On is revealing its newest product line-up of the ultra high-speed Solid-State Drives featuring True Speed Technology.  TrueSpeed is a technology that works to prevent the drastic write speed degradation that can occur with SSDs and delivers highly stabilized long-term performance, which provides enterprise, corporate, and OEM customers with a real-world performance advantage. The Lite-On SSD is available in many form factors: 2.5” in 7mm and 9.5mm, 1.8”, half-slim, and mSATA

MyDisk Suite requires only a few straightforward steps and incorporates a set of applications for the PC, iPad and iPhone. MyDisk Suite is developed exclusively for Lite-On’s eNAU708.  It is the latest, most intuitive, and most user-centered disc burning software tool.

A research was conducted on a generation of 17-45 year old individuals who share their lives and their media have difficulty finding files they have burned. The research also shows those individuals find current burning software difficult to use. MyDisk Suite requires only a few straightforward steps and incorporates a set of applications for the PC, iPad and iPhone. Applications including DiskIndex, DiskCollection, DiskCase, and DiskMobile present a brand-new approach to disc burning; making disc burning easier, smarter and more interesting. DiskMobile

DiskMobile allows users to wirelessly transfer iPhone and iPad images to the eNAU708 DVD Writer using a unique internet address. Once transferred, the eNAU708 will burn the transferred images onto a disc for safe-keeping and sharing. Additionally, DiskMobile can be used to back up photos against theft or loss of iPhone or iPad and free up storage space on those devices.

 

DiskCase

DiskCase is an innovative iPad application offering users the option to design disc covers that are ready to use once printed onto a single sheet of paper. Creative case covers replace the dull and bland ones of the past – design an original case cover or utilize built-in templates to display a strikingly unique disc.

 

DiskIndex

DiskIndex burns discs with an easy-to-navigate and customized auto-run menus that automatically load when a disc is inserted into a PC. Previously, when sharing files, recipients had to tediously search through the long list of files to locate the desired data, photo, or videos files. With DiskIndex, when the disc is inserted into a PC, a custom menu appears allowing the user to easily find and view files. Creating a menu is easy, simply select one of the professionally designed templates or design personalized menus to reflect individual taste, profession and lifestyle.

 

DiskCollection

DiskCollection is a burning software with a built-in data management solution allowing users to effectively create a personal disc database. Featuring a drag-and-drop interface, disc cover printing, disc classification and automatic contents indexing, DiskCollection makes file and disc management more efficient in three simple steps. First, type a brief description of the disc and drag-and-drop the files to be burned; print the disc cover, then click burn. DiskCollection automatically saves the details of each disc in its searchable index – the cover image, description and content of any disc are immediately accessible.

The iHBS112 is a feature-rich BD writer equipped with Lite-On’s own patented SmartWrite and SmartX technology.  SmartWrite can set the optimum speed of operation, enabling users to “burn and work”, running other applications while making a BD, DVD or CD with a minimum risk of failed burns, or creating “coasters”. SmartX can automatically adjust data extraction speed, such as decreasing the reading speed to reduce acoustic noise and anti-vibration, and provides smooth and quiet playback.


The BD writer is capable of recording and playing back today’s most popular media formats including Blu-ray, DVD, and CD. It has a write speed of up to 12X on a BD-R SL, 8X on BD-R DL,  and read speeds of 8X on BD-ROM, BD-R, BD-RE SL, 6X on BD-RE DL media, and supports DVD±R media at 16X.
